A Little History
Established in 1999, we chose our name because “crew” conjures a mental image of camaraderie and 
consistency. Brian Park, founding owner and NE Ohio native, chose the name while Dj’ing aboard Cleveland’s Goodtime III cruise ship and later brought in John Kerata as a partner to launch the mobile side of the company.

Brian and John set out to create the most professional event and wedding DJ company in the Cleveland and Akron areas. Shaking off the normal image that most think of when picturing a DJ, they designed and implemented a training program for the DJ Crew staff DJs. This comprehensive DJ training program incorporates classroom training and coaching with live-event rehearsal.
Focusing on actual DJ-skill refinement, scenario training, extensive music knowledge, and event adaptation, this training program remedies many of the issues that exist in the wedding DJ industry. At any event DJ Crew DJs, you’ll always find their DJs to be professional “party hosts” who bring superior MC skills and music to your event. In other words, your event will be a stress-free and fun atmosphere…with a packed dance floor.
Using this philosophy, The DJ Crew has grown from 39 events in 2002 to over 300 annually.
